Ever noticed that some websites seem to promote real estate “related” things more than actual real estate itself? That’s because these website owners understand the value of diversifying their income stream, so they have MONETIZED their website. And now, you’ll learn how to do the same thing.

(Note - this is part of the Internet Secrets For Nationwide Real Estate Investing Series - check out the other parts of this series here on FreeRealEstateTraining.com!)

The real estate market goes up and down, and that can be good or bad for your business. But what’s never bad is having a diversified group of income streams - and your real estate website gives you the perfect avenue to achieve that.

The very first way I recommend that you consider “monetizing” your real estate website is by signing up for Google’s program called Adsense. Adsense is a program that allows you to put some “code” on your website, and that code causes ads to be displayed on your website that are relevant to the content of the page where the ads are displayed.

The great thing about Adsense is that you can make money without actually selling anything. For example, on real estate-related web pages, Adsense generally pays between 50 cents and $1.50 for every time that someone clicks on your Adsense ad. (The amount is highly variable though - check out the Adsense website for more information.)

Google Adsense is displayed on the page you’re now looking at, in the left sidebar near the top and on the right sidebar towards the middle/bottom of the page. These ads are clicked every single day and provide the funding needed to run this website, plus a tidy profit.

(I know of MANY marketers who make 5 or 6-digit incomes MONTHLY from Google Adsense alone. And bringing in an extra $500-$3,000 per month or more is very much in the realm of possibility even for smaller websites following the guidelines I’ve been teaching you.)

An excellent supplement to Google Adsense is AdBrite.  AdBrite is extremely similar to Google Adsense, with one big distinction:  AdBrite’s ads analyze the money you’re likely to make from a particular ad, and if the revenue to be generated by AdBrite’s ads is less than the revenue likely to be generated by another source (such as Adsense), then AdBrite will show the more profitable ad instead.  Quite a convenient feature!

Another extraordinary way to “monetize” your website is through “lead generation” programs. These programs enable you to make money simply by having the visitors to your website fill out a form that expresses interest in some type of product. For example, there’s a health newsletter that I recommend to my readers which requires no cost whatsoever, but each time someone signs up to that newsletter from my referral, I am paid $1.45. The great thing is that I make this money (and so can you) even though the person who signed up for the health newsletter never paid anything.

Additionally, there are many lead generation programs for mortgage companies that pay between $5 and $50 per lead. In these cases, you’d refer people to a page where they’ll be requesting a mortgage quote, and to receive that quote they must provide some personal information to the lender. When that happens, you’re paid a nice sum of money.

Imagine if your website could cause this to happen 10-100 times per month, totally on autopilot. What would that do for your financial situation? (And that’s a very small scale - much more is possible.)

A good source for Lead Generation programs is Azoogle.

Yet another great way to MONETIZE your website is through “Affiliate Programs”. But that’s a huge topic to itself, and I’m going to delay discussion of that until tomorrow - so be sure to check your email for the notice. (And if you’re not yet on the FreeRealEstateTraining.com update list, be sure to get on it using the form in the upper right part of this page.)

Have a great day, my friend! (Questions and comments are always welcomed here at FreeRealEstateTraining.com - use the comments area below…)
