Last night we had a really great turnout for the Instant Internet Domination Webinar. I would like to offer you my sincere appreciation for this, because I know your time is valuable and I do not take that lightly.
I recorded the webinar and the video turned out reasonably well.
There was one scary moment for me last night: While I was demonstrating how to get listings on the first page of Google within minutes, all was going according to plan because one of my search results showed up #1 on Google’s search results for my target keyword, and that was the only thing on the first page of results. But the link actually didn’t work for some reason – and I nearly freaked out! But then I felt better when I checked back a few minutes later and saw that the Google search results had updated and that the top 3 results on that page had become mine! (Watch the video and see for yourself!)
In fact, watching it right away will be wise, as there’s some time-sensitive stuff in there.

Hi Bryan,
Thanks for the web page info last night. It was indeed interesting. I was impressed you were able to get a listing on the front page of Google. Just like you said you would. I was however disapointed that you didn’t allow everyone who was interested in having a web site designed with your help and instruction to do so. I suspect it would be an unmanageable project if you made that offer. But, I am interested in having a site that will make money as well as offer educational articles and be able to collect buyer, seller, and lender data. Please advise if you’ll perhaps reconsider your work group size.
Thanks for listening.
Kindest Personal Regards,
John Platt
Hi John – thanks for your kind words. Yes, you’re right – there’s no practical way to work with a large number of people. I don’t want to overcommit myself. But as far as reconsidering my work group size, check out the video and the link I give near the end. You might find something interesting
— Bryan Ellis
Hi Bryan,
Tried to extract the zip file after downloading it and I keep getting an error saying it’s damaged or corrupted. Is it just me or are you finding that out from others as well?
Hi Gabrielle – (You have one of my favorite names, BTW) – I’ve not heard this report from anyone else yet. However, by the morning I expect I’ll have a web page you can visit to watch the video directly. Keep your fingers crossed! — Bryan Ellis
Hey Brian I tried to open the zip file but once I click on the link, nothing happens, it says done at the bottom of the webpage but nothing opens up. I tried to close the page and refresh but I get the same results.
Thanx
Greg
If you’ve had any trouble downloading the file, note that I’ve removed the download and am now providing the video to you in a streaming format. To view the video, click here:

Have a great day!
great thoughts
Hey Bryan, I was successful at downloading and watching the webinar. It opened in Windows Media Player. You did a really good job. Thanks for providing the FREE Training. Keep up the good work.
Greg – thanks so much for your kind words, I’m truly glad that the free training was helpful to you! — Bryan Ellis
Hey Bryan,
I listened to the webinar and am wondering about the duplicate things on the guru website that i have. I was wondering if I could change the content on the website and add something new everyday would that work if i put blogs and videos then it would not be the same as others will that work let me know thanks
trish
Hi Trish – sure, it will certainly help if you change the content on your site on a regular basis. If you install a blog, be sure to do the research to make sure that you know how to optimize the blog for search engine inclusion so you get real benefits rather than just wasting time with new software. — Bryan Ellis
Bryan:
I found the replay extremely interesting and highly relevant to one of the niches I am working on, Loss Mitigation. With the free download of wordpress will I have the ability to add affiliate featue and different lists to blast emails etc. to? Many thanks for all you do in REI.
Barry
Barry – you can do nearly anything you want with the free wordpress installation. Some of it is very simple – like installing “plugins” – and some is more complicated, such as modifying themes. But it’s all entirely possible with what you can get for free, just more or less effort involved. — Bryan Ellis
This website has the word press and all the other things you metntioned on your webinar I just need to go in and add the info to it do I still need to research if it allows me to add blogs also I think not real savoy.
thanks your info is all wonderful.
trish
Trish – I don’t understand your question. Can you try again? Thanks. — Bryan Ellis
Bryan:
I did a Google search for Hadden Place Apartment, McDonough, GA and also with the haddenplaceapartments.com and did not find a listing either way. I checked the 1st 4 pgs. Where did it go?? Do you have to enter info daily to keep it high on the list?
Lynnette
Hi Lynnette – no you don’t have to do it every day, you just have to spell it correctly
The word “Haddon” is spelled with an “o” rather than an “e” as you’ve spelled. As of right now, I still have the first 4 listings on the first page. There are some things that I can do to make those rankings likely to hold long term, which I’ll admit I’ve not yet done. But so far, I’m happy with having the first 4 results on page #1. Thanks for the question! — Bryan Ellis
Bryan,
I sure would like to have seen the replay. I was interrupted on the call and missed it.
Then was gone until now. Would like to see this replay. Thanks.
This is the worst replay ever. Every couple of minutes the video replay aborts, and it turns into a sales page. Then I have to go back in and wait for it to reload, then move the replay indicator past the point where it aborted to try to pick up somewhere near where it left off. How can I decide if I’m even interested in the product for sale if I can’t get through the video replay. That’s not really a very bright marketing tactic. Maybe you’d be better off making it a pop-up instead of re-directing to the sales page.
You know, “Joefis”, I appreciate your letting me know that there’s a technical problem. I think it’s pretty clear from what you’ve said that there is, in fact, a technical discrepancy. Do you think I’d make the page do these things on purpose? No, I certainly wouldn’t. And to be frank, if you’re complaining this much about something that cost you nothing and required no more than a few minutes of your time, I shudder to think at what would happen if I took you on as a client and even a single discrepancy, however minor, was to occur. Based on this response, you’d probably be more inclined to take out an ad in the USA Today proclaiming my incompetence rather than letting me know there’s an issue to be resolved. So it appears fate has ruled well in this case, as you’ll not be burdened with watching a free video or signing up for a marketing program, and I’ll not be forced to “fire” a client whose attitude is not compatible with success. — Bryan Ellis
If it was an error, then it was an error. . .
That’s what it was – that’s why I thanked you for pointing it out. Note – I’ve had no one else point this out to me, and I know for certain that many people have watched it successfully. So yes, it’s an error – but whether it’s on my end or yours isn’t clear.
However, what it looked like from my perspective (as the potential client, attempting to find out about you as well as this product and its validity)
was a deliberate attempt to force prospective clients to your sales page, which you can imagine is well beyond annoying. Especially since the sales page is “Only Two Spots Left….” etc.
Do you know why it says that? Because there are only two spots left. Pretty simple, isn’t it?
If you’ve seen (as I’m sure you have) all of the overkill and excessive hype from other real estate and internet marketing trainers and “gurus”, and this “glitch” being the result of an “Internet Marketing Domination” trainer, you’d know that it was not an unreasonable assumption, nor was it an over-reaction on my part.
I have no idea what “Internet Marketing Domination” trainer you’re referring to, but I’ve been in this game a lot longer than most of those people. But yes – it’s an entirely unreasonable (and foolish) assumption, and it was a complete overreaction. If you actually wanted the information rather than just wanting to complain about something, you would have made that clear. But you didn’t. You see, I’ve learned hard lessons in the past that it’s better for me to refuse to deal with certain people than to accommodate them. And your responses show all the signs of such a categorization. Hopefully, I’m wrong about you – but both of your posts suggest I’m not.
And I spent more than “a few minutes” of my time trying to access your information. I spent close to two hours, and didn’t manange to make it any further than to where you were explaining spiders. At that point, I gave up.
Wow – I guess that was frustrating, and I regret that you had that experience. Again, I’ll point out that I’ve heard about this from nobody else, so who knows where the actual problem is. But two hours is a long time to spend – the entire video isn’t even that long from beginning to end. I’d probably have given up after trying once or twice and then asked how to get the problem corrected. But that’s just me.
The fact that you didn’t really respond with grace or an apology for the technical difficulties, but instead chose to attack my character, my attitude, and make presumptions as to what I would or would not do in the face of a minor discrepancy, really speaks more to your attitude and character than mine.
You’re right, it does reflect my attitude and character: I’ve made a business determination to absolutely, positively avoid dealing with complainers. That position reflects both my attitude and character. So you’re right.
I realize that you think you’re the smart guy, and I’m not, but it would behoove you to realize that who you alienate might matter. And if it was truly a technical glitch, as opposed to an intentionally overly aggressive sales push, it seems to me that a sincere and genuine apology and a promise to get it fixed would probably go a long way to establishing your credibility, especially to people who don’t know who you are. You are, as I’m sure you realize, marketing on the internet to people who have been inundated with scams, and liars and frauds and generally overly-aggressive tactics which fill their inbox. Understanding that, after all, people are your target market, and frustrated people not only don’t become clients, they actually deserve a little bit of respect and not disdain for trying to access your “free” information in an effort to determine your credibility and value to them.
You’re wrong – I make no judgments about whether you’re smart. My assumption about my readers and subscribers is that they are very smart, and that appears to include you. I agree that frustrated people deserve respect – but it’s not true that they don’t become clients. But people who complain bitterly (as you’ve done) as their first means of communication are people I have absolutely zero interest in dealing with.
You may wonder why I’ve posted this rather than just handling it as a private conversation. Two reasons: (1) This was posted as a comment on my message board, so you seemed to want it handled publicly and (2) I wanted to go out of my way to demonstrate to all of my clients who deal with me in good faith that I really appreciate the way the deal with me, and that I won’t clog their lines of communication to me with people who complain rather than resolve. — Bryan Ellis
My two cents….
Thank you fate.
So then, in the end, we are agreed! — Bryan Ellis
Unfortunately, I couldn’t view the replay. It begins then the sales page loads and i can’t get back to where I was. All I can do is start from the beginning again and it plays a little then the sales page loads. I’ve tried placing the “slider” at various places to see if I could get past that point, but that didn’t work. I also thought if I waited to let the video page load in its entirety before hitting play that might work. No luck.
Thanks for the notice! I’m working on it right now and will have it resolved soon. In the mean time, I’m uploading the video so it can be downloaded directly. I’ll let you know when it’s up there. Thanks! Bryan Ellis
UPDATE – There’s a download link in the post above, but it’s also right here: Instant Internet Domination Video. Enjoy! — Bryan Ellis
Bryan I don’t quite understand the difficulty in viewing the Webinar Replay. As I’ve said before the Download last time worked very well for me. I did not think it would because it was a .zip file, but it unzipped and loaded into my Windows Media Player. I was able to watch it in it’s entire-ity with NO problems. I have not tried the to watch it on the web. It very well could be those who can not see either the download or the webcast, maybe do not have their computers updated with the latest software, plugins or whatever. Just a thought. Oh, btw the your website looks much better now. Thanks for fixing it.
P.S. I thought the way you responded to Joefis was right on the money and very tasteful I might add. I may not be able to enjoy working with you directly, But I do appreciate what I can Learn For Free. Thanks again.
Bryan,
your absolutely correct in dealing with difficult people who cannot get off of a subject, and move on to the next, you need to let go, these people bring negativity into the lives of others and should be taught to stop and think before lashing out at others. this is no way to advance in the business world. forgive and move onto the next thing. if you Joefis are truely interested in seeing the website then you need to ask nicely for things give and get this is hard to learn but truely works in all situations just a thought
thanks bryan your website is truely informative and keep up the good work
Joefis stop crying over spilt milk

Thanks Bryan, I will patiently wait until it is available. Your time is extremely valuable and what you are doing for us is completely wonderful – you give me hope and motiviation everyday. Is there any way to discuss the mentorship program privately? Please let me know. Thanks again for all you do. What we all need to do is look at the positive and work together for a brighter future. Complaining and whining is just a negative force that destroys and stops growth!!!!
Hi Janet – the video is available above, please feel free to download it at your leisure. I don’t currently have a mentoring program! Are you referring to my Instant Internet Domination workgroup? If so, I’ll be happy to speak with you about that, but that group is now closed. I might reopen it in a month or two, but for now I want to be able to give all of my focus to the group of people who are already involved in the program. Thanks so much! — Bryan Ellis
Hi Bryan,
I keep getting the file is corrupt or invalid when I try to open the video – any suggestions? Also, I would be extremely thrilled to be part of the Internet Domination workgroup. If you open it again, please let me know so I can be the first one on your list. Thanks again!!
Janet – the video is in a compressed ZIP file and must be decompressed before it can be viewed. Windows handles this easily, just right-click it and choose “expand” or “decompress” (I don’t remember the specific name. And I’ll certainly let you know the next time I re-open the Internet Domination workgroup. Thanks so much! — Bryan Ellis
