Deloitte LLP commissioned a survey that found that 67% (two thirds) of people who recently applied for a home mortgage found the process more difficult than before the housing crisis started about a year ago.

Um, so what?

I think the big news in this is that the rest of those seeking a mortgage (one third of the whole) apparently found the process no more difficult than before.

This is good news. It means that mortgage lenders have wised up, but are not getting in the way of good borrowers.
