Various funds, often called &quot;vulture funds&quot; will purchase these &quot;deficiency rights&quot; based on their ability to collect, i.e., hardships such as divorce or &quot;walk-aways&quot; are MUCH MUCH MUCH more likely to be purchased and pursued in the future for deficiency as these likely have the financial means of being collected upon.</description>
