Given that we put them in their offices, it speaks volumes on all sorts of levels about everyone involved in the electoral process when Americans view being a member of Congress as “the least favorable of nine professions,” according to Rasmussen Reports. Only 23 percent of adults have a favorable opinion of the members of Congress – and that is not a division that falls along any party lines. In short, the American population does not really like any of them. This has been the case since late 2009, when being a Congress member hit the bottom of the 9-profession pile, pushing “corporate CEO” up to number 8.
Interestingly, the flip side of these results is that entrepreneurs are the most respected people in the country, tied with small business owners. As a real estate investor, you likely fall into both of these categories. Are you experiencing results from these positive opinions?

Congress should be permanently downsized regardless of
party. The government is to big to greedy and to corrupt!
I am surprised that their ratings are that high as they should
not! They have killed small business and job creation as
well as economic growth with their collective bad policies
of 30 years which has brought our nation to it’s knees on
the brink of absolute collapse, chaos violence and
destruction! All incumbents should be voted out their pay
and benefits cut and term limits of 2 terms for them all!
