If you read all the posts, you will see the racism came from the liberal side. They started the racism on this forum, they continued the racism even when rebuked by the other side and will always form their opinions from a racial predudiced perspective. It's not just the real estate investors who do this, it's society in general. The left thrives on racism, sexism, and LIBERALISM which promotes discention. The discention divides this country and will be our eventual downfall.
DIVIDED WE FALL, which is the eventual outcome of Liberal Socialistic Politics.

Kalimah,
Bold words that don't refer to anything except your own prejiduce. It would be interesting to have something to understand where you are coming from.

I see very few racist comments in these posts. If you are disgusted that is your privilege in this country, it would seem that you come from a very repressed environment.

As for having others that look like me I guess you didn't grow up in this country. Unless you mean most of my peers when I grew up with had one head, two arms and two legs. Well even that doesn't really work as many of my peers didn't have two arms or two legs. That what happens when you grow up in a farm community.

So clue us in or guit make such nasty statements with no foundation in fact.

I was disgusted by most of the comments that were made on this post. My nausea has subsided but in the end, I feel embarrassed to be associated with real estate investors if the comments made here represents how most real estate investors think. In regards to many of the racist comments made, if you grew up in a country/environment where your teachers, doctors, and government leaders look like you then you have no right whatsoever to speak ill of those who did not have that privilege.

You couldn't be more incorrect. Rights are God-given and affirmed by law. In the context of government, we all have the right to say anything we want, with the sole exception of threats to the President. It might bother you that people say things contrary to your experience, but that does not mean that they have no right do so. -- Bryan Ellis

One other point: It appears to me you're basing your entire argument against racism on the premise of racism. By suggesting it is a "privilege" to grow up in an environment where teachers, doctors and government leaders look like you, you are inherently suggesting that people who didn't have that experience would be better off if they did. That's still racism, just in a different direction. Food for thought. -- Bryan Ellis

Ron Paul does have a lot of good points going for him. I'm probably a Libertarian at heart myself. But, any vote that is not cast to keep Obama out of the whiteHouse, is a wasted vote.

Ron Paul.

Small government, anti-intervention warfare, let states decide their own social issues.

You can all waste your votes, I'm being American and voting for the guy I agree with.

Well said Chris and I 2nd what Bill said also. We are in decline as a nation from both parties. The last good Dem in my book was JFK which was more moderate than any Dem today. We forget that LBJ took social security out of the private funds where it was doing well, and put it in general funds to help pay for Vietnam. I mentioned before that no nation has withstood two competing cultures. History proves that. We are now becoming two cultures with the hispanics wanting us to learn spanish and our government catering to the illegals because they want votes. I am not against anyone coming here wanting a better life. Just do it legally and learn our language. This is the United States of America wher our language is English. I see all these protestors saying the illegals have rights when Sheriff Joe goes out. He is doing his job in arresting people breaking the law. We have politicians saying he is wrong in doing his job and we need to leave these illegals alone. Why so they can start taking over our country like they are now.
We need to take back our country before it is too late if it already isn't. The dems will lead us down the road to destruction sooner if they get in. We need a leader who will stop catering to all these other countries and start putting the U.S. first. If we don't who knows how long we have left.

Well said Chris. I have been preaching this growing government concept for 30 years to friends, family and anyone who will listen. Unfortunately most are too lazy or to apathetic to care. As I said before, most people only look at the recent past and not the history of our government or the history of the parties. If you go back to 1913 and come forward you will see the socialist trend of the Democrats whilch will be our downfall.
No power on earth, no war or any other nation poses a bigger threat to this country than the Liberals in the Democratic party.

WAKE UP AMERICA!!!

Greg and others,

I understand your frustration and it saddens me because our government also understands it. They want it, they need it, they create as much of it as they can!!

Now before anyone goes off of the deep end let us look at some facts of history. Yes, history the great teacher.

All governments are started to further someone's agenda. Some agendas are more noble than others yet all of them eventually fail. It has always been because they lost sight of their original purpose. They all did this by weakening their original creeds, be they a creed of well being or a creed of conquest.

Ours was started to give us all more free choice than what we had under the King. Freedom to worship as we choose, freedom to not be taxed excessively, freedom to protect ourselves from the government. The problem all governments have is the same, the people working for the government. Be they the politicians or the buzzing bees under them.

As soon as the government gets started it starts going to hell in a hand basket. They want to survive above all else and unlike those of us the private sector, they have the power to sustain themselves.

They do this by making themselves bigger and bigger and bigger. By taking more and more freedom from all of us so we can not be a threat to their way of life. As time goes on the disconnect becomes larger and larger until we are faced with what we have now.

As individuals we can quickly come to some rational decisions about what our society needs. We need good schools, the government states it takes a study and more money to give us good schools. Not true go to any private school and look at their cost per student, makes you kind of sick seeing how we are lied to.

We need better health care and they are the only ones who can provide it. Better roads, better air, better this and better that, yet tell me one program running well or at a good cost. None exist because of one thing and one thing only. They have no accountablity!!

Now the powers that be say, "well you can vote us out". The answer is maybe and then sometimes not at all. You certainly have to bear with them for a long time to find out how much truth they actually had in their speeches. In the mean time they pass laws making it even harder to find out what they are doing, even harder to speak out against them, even more depressing to vote for anything.

The government officials work very hard to disinterest us in actually voting. The amount of time devouted to stacking the deck against the populus is frightening, most behind closed doors by people you wouldn't want your children or loved ones anywhere near.

If any of the govenment people really wanted to make our country stronger, better and our country an even happier place to be, the spending would go down, entitlements would become a thing of the past and everyone would be treated the same, private and government both. As you can see that is not going to happen.

I only see more class warfare talk taking place, more division between government employees and private employees and more talk of they need to take care of us, because we don't know how.

Words are cheap, actions are strong and I see nothing about real change except making government bigger. As it becomes more, we become less, just something to feed the machine.

How can a family that makes over 3,000,000.00 a yr. (Obama and his wife) or anyone for that matter, relate to most of us on this blog. I believe we are the working poor in this country. At least I am. I go to work 5 days a week, I gross maybe $50,000 more or less. My wife works for only 9 months out of the yr. (ASK-After School Program) My wife grosses maybe $10,000. And we can't pay our bills on time. Yes I know we have to many bills. I also have three step children. My point is how can these people actually relate to us. I know Barak doesn't make that kind of money being a Senator, but he makes enough. Quite frankly all of congress makes enough and yet they vote themselves a raise every chance they get. They have a separate retirement plan than we do, they tell us we have to live on social security which they must not contribute to. Because if they did at their salaries and speaking fees and whatever else they do, I don't think Social Security would be going broke. These guys need to be on the same plans the average American is on. Or the average American needs to be on their's We have to get IRA'S, 401K's, Pension Plans that may not be there when we retire. Why shouldn't they? I still don't understand why Bush's suggestion that we take 2% of what they take for social security and let us put in our own personnel retirement accounts didn't pass. That's the only way I could save for retirement. Let me say this though, I'm not jealous that people make more money than I do but I am envyous. So don't get the wrong impression. I actually listened to Obama's Acceptance speech last night. I also heard Joe Biden's speech. They were both great speeches and they cover up who they are very well. Everything they said seemed to make sense. Of course they are acting as if conservatives don't care about helping people, don't care about getting off of fossil fuels, don't care about the environment or Global Warming. Which couldn't be further from the truth. I think conservatives just have a different approach to the same problems. I can't wait to hear McCain's speech at the RNC Convention. It will also be interesting to hear from the VP choice. I hope McCain blows Obama out of the water. It will make my choice that much more simple.

Every time I listen to Obama I am reminded why I stopped working for the DNC. What a bunch of idiots and shame on me for ever supporting them through my efforts.

What is it about most politicians and especially liberals that make them immune to the cold hard facts? Why is it every time they are presented with an absolute fact they say "well maybe that happened every time before but this time it won't happen that way"?

I just don't get it and sure don't understand people whom only want to talk out of both sides of their face.

I am getting to like McCain more and more!! I don't always agree with him but at least he has some ethics and moral character. Obama doesn't have either and one more question. What is his wife so damn angry about? She hasn't had it any rougher than many in this country but she is an angry woman, why?
