The department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will distribute more than $10 million to housing counseling agencies around the United States, it announced last week. $3 million will go to 139 local counseling agencies while $7 million will be divided among 23 counseling intermediary agencies. The money comes from unused 2010 funding for housing counsel services [1].
